Fredericton Maritime Adoption Gathering !

This could have been the last time I would be able to wear my expecting from Ethiopia t-shirt at a gathering !


Well we had another wonderful gathering at Karen's House in Fredericton on Saturday. There were 8 families that were able to attend all at various stages of their adoption !!

It was wonderful to see everyone again and to meet all the new families that are joining us ! What an amazing group! For the ones that could not attend, we cannot wait to see you all at future gatherings !!!

We all went out for breakfast at a great restaurant (thanks Louise for suggesting it) and afterwards we all went over to Karen's house and mingled like we usually do and got to know each other better ! It was wonderful to finaly put a face to everyone's names !

I had brought many things that I had bought in Ethiopia with me to show everyone and my pictures and videos of Ethiopia !

We then had a wonderful BBQ with too much food ! The food was wonderful and so was the company ! Thanks Karen for letting us use your house and all the food :)

On Saturday, we kept saying what a wonderful group we are building for our children and how fun it will be in a few years to see all the children running around and playing together at these gatherings ! I know Pierre and I are really glad that Marika and Karelle will be part of such a great groups of families and friends !

We are all looking forward to our next gathering which will be on PEI for Canada Day ! And you never know, our littles ones might be here by then !
