Famer's Market and Craft Sale !
Julie and I were at our local market and at a craft fair this past week-end raising funds still for CHOIR ! And I forgot my camera so sorry no pictures this time...
We had bought lots of handmade scarves back with us from Ethiopia and are now selling them with 100% of the funds going back to Ethiopia to help with the projects we were working with while there !
It was really fun this time to speak to everyone that was stopping by about our expedition and we had brought our album with all our pictures of the different projects and people are always really supportive and soo interested, we always have soo much fun at these type of events !!!
We always meet lots of people, there was a family that stopped by and she told us that their daugther was currently in Addis Ababa working with the Red Cross for a year and that she was trying to convince them to go spend Christmas with her there... They were not too sure and of course we tried to convince them that it was a great idea ! We also met a few other families that knew or were interested in adoption !
All in all it was a great week-end and we are looking forward to doing it again soon !

You guys must have raised lots of money for CHOIR now, that's awesome!
It makes it so much more "real" to raise the money when you can visualise the kids doesn't it...

Now that we have seen first hand how so little money can help such a large group of children, we are happy to be able to do as much as we can ! We are doing it now as it will be a little harder when we are both home with our children :)
But we are planning to keep having at least one large event every year to raise funds directly for CHOIR...
