Did you know??? ( The Ethiopian Calendar)
The current year in Ethiopia is 1999.... yes that is right, we will be going back in time in a few months to 1999. And our children will also be born either in 1998 or 1999 in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Calendar has 12 months of 30 days, and adds and extra month of five to six days.
New Year's is celebrated on September 11, except for leap years when it occurs on September 12.
We will always remember this day as September 11 was the day after our wedding, the day Pierre and I started our new life together and also the day we lost a great friend.

WOW....never knew that!!! Its very interesting when you get to learn more about different countires. I always HATED History class in school, but when your "learning" for a different reason I LOVE IT!!!

Very interesting,i had no idea,history wasn't my favorite subject in school now i find it to be very interesting(of course now i have other interest..`wink`.
