Recent household survey in Ethiopia !

An article was recently shared with me on a survey that was done in Ethiopia and I thought I would share a few points with you!

1) The survey indicated that only 8% of rural households reported having water on their premises
2) An overwhelming majority of rural households (92 %) do not treat drinking water.
2) 14% of Ethiopian households have electricity, but this varies widely by place of residence.
3) 65% of households have earth or sand floors and 25 percent have dung floors.
4) The survey revealed that 62 % of Ethiopian households do not have a toilet facility.
