Door to Door !

Tonight, Julie and I decided that we would try going door to door selling tickets so see if it would sell better and it did !!! We were able to raise over $100 in only two hours. Compared to the market, we did a lot better !

It was great as we were able to have one on one conversation and we were able to explain in details what we are raising the funds for and most of them donated or bought tickets. A lot of them asked questions and some of them were even in the process of adopting or had adopted. It was very neat as we went around our neighborhood so I was able to meet a lot of people that live close by as well.

So as of tonight, with our fundraiser, we are currently at $239 ! We think its a good start.....

We will be going door to door again until the fundraiser next week-end as this seems to work !
