Sodere Hot Springs !

On the day prior to us leaving Ethiopia, we made the long trip to Sodere with the other 4 families that were still with us and we all had such a wonderful day !

We stopped a little late on the way to Sodere for a little break as its a long drive.. Here are a few pictures we took here :)

It was very warm at Sodere compared to the weather that we had in Addis that week (very cold) so it was fun to not have to wear pants, fleeces or jackets for that day!

The girls wore their new bathing suits for the first time and enjoyed the water sooo much. We put some floating arms on Marika and she was jumping off the sides of the pool in our arms and floating and everything. We were amazed at how much they loved the water and weren't afraid at all as we assume this would have been their first time in a pool.

Aww they're so adorable! I love reading your blog, and reading about your Ethiopia trip.. and the pictures are all so gorgeous! I remember going there, and stopping at that place on the way up too! (I'm Lesley Wiebe's daughter, Erin :D) Ayana loved the water, but Moses was asleep the whole time, and never got to go in.
